As your labor assistant (doula), I provide hands-on, heart-centered support through every stage of labor — from early contractions to holding your baby in your arms. I’m there to ground you, guide you, and help your partner feel confident too.

What the Research Says:

The most comprehensive review to date on doula support comes from a 2017 Cochrane Review of 26 trials involving over 15,000 women across 17 countries. The results are clear: Women who received continuous support during labor were:

 

• 39% less likely to have a cesarean

• 15% more likely to have a spontaneous vaginal birth

• 10% less likely to use pain medication

• Shorter labors by an average of 41 minutes

• 31% less likely to report dissatisfaction with the birth experience
